= so-called ‘artificial intelligence’ → irony, skepticism, critical statement → to distance oneself from the use of the term

term ‘AI’ anthropomorphises tech, fuels the hype

→ similar strategy seen in Donna Haraway’s A Cyborg Manifesto → tool to destabilize naturalized and established categories & expose linguistic traps ?

→ should we adopt this ? a simple way where to start with ?

2. ‘AI’ building the future

p.10 → “offering us predictions to learn and live from”

→ if we frame ‘AI’ a (prediction) technology based on inputs created (first of all) by humans in the past, it is creating a self-fed loop that affects and limits human thinking (because of its ubiquitous use) ?

p.12 → “the hype of ‘AI’ tech functions through a perpetual promise about the future”

p.2 → “accepted notion that Big Tech knows what’s best about future-making”
